Pericles V exchange, assistance and training programme for the protection of the euro against counterfeiting 2028–2034
This vote is about the EU programme to fight euro counterfeiting (2028-2034).
Background

In September 2025 the Commission proposed a fifth programme for 2028–2034, to replace Pericles IV. With this vote Parliament sets its position on the text, which still has to be negotiated with the Member States.
- Provides an indicative budget of €7 million for 2028–2034.
- Funds exchanges of information and staff, specialist training and technical assistance, including with non-EU countries.
